The ski sport equipment is a snow ski (1) with a seat (2) bonded to it from its rear end in a vertically sprung mounting. Hand grips (16,17), for the user, are outside the seating surface along the longitudinal sides of the seat. The seating surface (14) of the seat projects over both sides of the ski. The sprung mounting has a spring bow (4), of metal or layered wood, together with a damper (7) between the seat and ski.
