FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying ultrasonic liver examination. Bile duct internal diameter and wall thickness are additionally measured. Bile duct contents is qualitatively described. Cholagogue preparation of allochole is administered per os. Internal diameter of the common bile duct is measured 20, 60 and 150 min later. Liver echogenicity and echological structure are evaluated. Bile duct contents is qualitatively described. The so obtained data are interpreted. EFFECT: high accuracy of the diagnosis. 1 tbl
