PURPOSE: A monoclonal antibody for canine distemper virus and a kit for diagnosis of infection of the canine distemper virus using the same monoclonal antibody are provided, thereby the infection of the canine distemper virus can be rapidly diagnosed. CONSTITUTION: The monoclonal antibody for canine distemper virus is provided. The kit for diagnosis of infection of the canine distemper virus comprises (a) the monoclonal antibody for canine distemper virus; (b) a reactor containing the monoclonal antibody for canine distemper virus; and (c) a detecting tool for verifying the antigen-antibody reaction. A diagnosis method of the canine distemper virus comprises reacting the monoclonal antibody for canine distemper virus with the serum of an animal, and analyzing the antigen-antibody reaction, in which the analysis is carried out by using EIA(enzyme immunoassay), FIA(fluorescence immunoassay), LIA(luminescence immunoassay) and RIA(radio immunoassay).
