PURPOSE: Provided are novel ferrocenyldiphosphine-ruthenium complexes and a hydrogenation process of exocyclic double bond of d-thiophene to d-thiophane using the same as catalysts, thereby solving the problems caused by using prior ununiform catalysts. CONSTITUTION: The novel ferrocenyldiphosphine-ruthenium complexes are selected from ferrocenyldiphosphine-ruthenium complexes represented by general formula(1):(RuCl2(COD))n + PPin situ, general formula(2): (RuCl2(PP))2(NEt3), and general formula(3):RuHCl(PP)2, in which COD is cyclooctadiene, PP is diphosphine ligand, wherein R is C1 to C12 alkyl, C5 to C12 cycloalkyl, C1 to C4 aryl, C1 to C4 alkoxy, cycloalkyl substituted with C5 to C12, phenyl, or phenyl substituted with C1 to C4 alkyl, C1 to C4 alkoxy and halogen; and n is an integer of 1 to 3. The d-thiopan represented by chemical formula(4) is produced by hydrogenating d-thiophene of the chemical formula(3) using the ferrocenyldiphosphine-ruthenium complex as catalyst.
