PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology (recording medium and working table generating device) which can allocate working symbols equally to respective persons in charge when the working symbols are automatically allocate to cells constituting a working table.;SOLUTION: When the working table is generated which has the persons in charge allocated to constitution elements in one of row and column directions and dates set as constitution elements in the other direction, a process for determining whether the working symbols are allocated by the rows or columns, a process for setting maximum values of generated random numbers according to a larger numeral between the number of the rows and the number of the columns of the matrix, a process for generating a random number according to the maximum values set by the rows or columns to be allocated to, a process for generating random numbers according to the set maximum value when the allocation is performed by the rows or the columns, a process or determining a column-directional allocation start position when the allocation is performed by the rows or a row-directional allocation start position when the allocation is carried out by the columns according to the generated random numbers, and a process for allocating the working symbols to the respective cells under specific conditions are carried out as processes for automatically allocating the working symbols representing working styles to the respective cells constituting the matrix of the working table.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
