PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a question-answer processing method possible to modify information volume about result of search, which an user can treat, to arrange and refuse the obtained information, and to present it in a form which the user can see easily by analyzing the intention of the user's questions. SOLUTION: A database 15 is searched by a search execution part 14, after a request of search from the user is analyzed by a request of search analysis part 12, and the condition of search is generated by a condition of search generation part 13. The intention of the user's question, such as the topic of the question, is analyzed by an intention of question analysis part 16. According to the result, items to present the user about the result of search are selected, and an output form is decided by an output forming part 17. On the basis of the result, data are presented to the user by a presentation part 18.
