PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the risk of infection due to pathogenic bacteria present in a hospital or a circulatory bath by controlling the growth of the bacteria.;SOLUTION: The objective method for preventing the outbreak of a disease injury comprises the following practice: a suspension or filter containing pathogenic bacteria 4 is spread with magnetized ferrite 5-30 nm in particle size; the bacteria 4 come close to the line of magnetic force 3 generated by the ferrite 1 and on turning the line of magnetic force 3 off, a voltage is generated based on the Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction to energize electric current, which, in turn, is applied to the bacteria 4, resulting in suppressing the motion and hampering the growth of the bacteria 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
