PURPOSE: To obtain an apparatus for measuring an accurate liquid level by utilizing only the ultrasonic wave propagating characteristics of the part near the surface at the level of the liquid separated in a laminar state. ;CONSTITUTION: The reflections of two uppermost reflectors 103, 104 of dipped reflectors are recognized by a processor, and the arrival time of the pulse reflected from liquid surface and the height of liquid 6 above the uppermost dipped reflector 104 from the arrival time point of the pulse reflected from the two uppermost dipped reflectors 103, 104 are measured.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
