PURPOSE: An inner adsorbent bioreactor being capable of simultaneously producing and separating secondary metabolites is provided, thereby the yield of products is improved and the second metabolites can be efficiently recovered. CONSTITUTION: The inner absorbent bioreactor consists of absorption resin(30) selectively absorbing secondary metabolites; cylindrical outer and inner meshes(24) having smaller sized diameter than that of absorption resin which confine the absorption resin within a fluidized absorber to inhibit the leakage of the absorption resin into outer culture medium; outer supporting wall(23) and inner supporting wall(23') which envelop the meshes to support the fluidized absorber and have a space(25) to which culture medium passes; and upper plate(21) and bottom plate(20) which contact with the outer and inner meshes(24) and the outer and inner supporting walls(23, 23') and have a space to which culture medium passes.
