Potentiometer magnetically modulated based on the properties magnetoresistivas manganese oxides. This invention is the development of a potentiometer, ie a device variable electrical resistance, in which a resistance change is obtained in the active element and there is no mechanical contact with the moving part. The active potentiometer object of the present invention element is a magnetoresistive material. In it, the resistance modulation is obtained by applying a variable magnetic field. As characteristic properties which distinguish it from conventional potentiometers is remarkable the absence of mechanical contact.
