PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden of a user by realizing a method and device for retrieving necessary data corresponding to a user's request to arrange/aggregate to be proper granularity to visualize data.;SOLUTION: A user's request processing module 105 executes the morpheme analysis of a user's request to judge an item becoming a topic and store it in a meaning frame. Thus, it is possible to formally and unitarily handle the user's request independent from the notation of a sentence. A data reconstitution processing module 106 collects necessary data based on the user's request and selects its necessary part to execute the calculation of a total, a ratio, etc., and coordinating work by a date unit, etc., to reconstitute to be data of a proper granularity. Thus the user no longer has to consider a describing granularity and a designated range and his/her burden is reduced. A graph plotting processing module 107 automatically decides a graph kind matching with the user's request and an emphasizing method suited to it from reconstitution data and meaning frame.
