PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new dental investment compound, a new dental kit, a new method for producing an artificial tooth, the various uses of the investment compound, and the artificial tooth, which can solve defects, especially the dental investment compound which guarantees the optimal copying accuracy and fitting accuracy, and simultaneously advantageous material characteristics and handling characteristics. SOLUTION: This dental investment compound comprises 10 to 30 wt.% of polyethyleneglycol dimethacrylate, 40 to 55 wt.% of polymethyl methacrylate, 5 to 15 wt.% of highly dispersible silicon dioxide, 1 wt.% of a photoinitiator, 1 wt.% of a stabilizer, 0 to 10 wt.% of polyethyleneglycol, and 10 to 30 wt.% of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of urethane dimethacrylate, bis-GMA and ethoxylated bis-GMA.
