PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high gloss heat-resistant coating material composition capable of forming coating films having high gloss, opacifying power, heat resistance, and adhesion, a method of manufacturing the same, a method of coating a high gloss heat-resistance coating material, and a high gloss heat- resistant coating material coating film. ;SOLUTION: The heat-resistant coating material composition comprises an inorganic pigment powder having opacifying power in combination with a binder fluid having an alcohol solution of a polysilicon alkoxide as the major component, and the binder fluid contains an effective amount of an aluminum component, and the composition contains 8-50 wt.% hydrophilic organic solvent having a boiling point of 100C-220C. The inorganic pigment powder dispersed in the binder fluid has an average particle diameter of the primary particle of not greater than 0.3 m, and the binder component contains not less than 60 vol.% set up vitreous bonded portions in the set up coating film upon setting up the composition to dryness.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
