(57) Abstract The flow fairing is done with each ATM device inside the virtual circuit which was formed to ATM network. Especially, flow of the data unit which passes by the virtual circuit, as variable transmission delay is maintained substantially uniformly during the hop and the hop, is controlled with each ATM switch. The flow fairing which is done with each device maintains variable transmission delay substantially uniformly via the whole of the virtual circuit, reaches the point where it can form the ATM virtual circuit which possesses the many ATM switch hop of optional number without being assigned constraint by the pureiauto buffer size which because of this, is required. In addition, this invention holds down delay of the ended two end to minimum.
