Method for analyzing primary neutron radiation of a neutron source, a neutron source provided with a beam controller and a beam controller.2.1 The known beam controllers are fission chambers which are arranged in the primary neutron beam. These disadvantages can be avoided with the new process, the new neutron source and the new beam controller.2.2 Neutrons are scattered incoherently out of the primary neutron radiation (1) by means of a diffusion film (4). Part of the scattered neutrons (5) meet a detector device (6) which is arranged outside the primary neutron radiation (1). The beam controller (2) can very well be configured to be able to determine the spatial distribution of neutrons in the primary neutron radiation (1) as well as the spectral distribution in the case of pulsed neutron sources.2.3 Radiation analysis primary neutron of a neutron source, including a pulsed spallation neutron source. / P
