Explosion protection filter device, especially for dissipating dust explosions, withstands reducing explosion pressure and safely dissipates explosion through a filter unit
The explosion protection filter device withstands the reducing explosion pressure and safely dissipates the explosion through a filter unit (6). Preferred Features: The device also confines flames, solids and sparks and may be equipped with an additional expansion chamber. A weather protector (1) with a trap (2) may be fitted to the device. The explosion is guided through the filter unit to the clean gas side (3) and is then safely dissipated by a bursting device. The explosion pressure is reduced in an expansion chamber to the strength of equipment in which it is installed.
