摘要

PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition showing inhibition effect on collagenase formation by containing green tea polyphenol is provided, which shows excellent inhibition effect on collagen degradation. CONSTITUTION: A process for the preparation of cosmetic composition showing inhibition effect on collagenase formation comprises the steps of: adding green tea(Thea sinensis L.) to 95% ethanol, steeping for 5days, and filtering; separating organic solvent layer by using distilled water/ethyl acetate(1:1) solution; purifying 99% of (-)-epicatechin(EC), (-)-epigallocatechin(EGC), (-)-epicatechin 3-gallate(ECG), and epigallocatechin 3-0-gallate(EGCG) by separating with high performance liquid chromatography, and producing the green tea polyphenol (GTP). The cosmetic composition contains 0.00000001-30%(w/v) of GTP, desirably 0.00001-6%(w/v), as the weight after drying.
