Cabinet for electrical supply input to dwelling has one compartment which is not accessible to user and contains meter and another compartment in which user can connect circuits
The cabinet has two compartments: one (5) which accommodates the energy meter and one (12) in which user circuits can be connected. The compartments have two separate covers. The cover on the meter compartment is sealed by the supply company. The meter compartment will accommodate any meter which has a three-point mounting. Each of the mounting points (6, 7, 8) has a large number of connection pins (9, 10, 11) to make contact with the meter connectors.
