PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a specific culture medium composition enabling to discriminate whether or not an infected bacillus is a drug resistant one without requiring a special technique and skill and enabling to easily and precisely detect the infected bacillus in a short time, and also to provide a method for its discrimination.;SOLUTION: This culture medium is prepared by filling a selection and separation culture medium having the same composition for the objective bacterium into each section for a fractionation culture medium dividedly into plural sections, making include an antimicrobial substance for the objective bacterium in at least one section of the culture medium, and by adding a coloring matter not affecting the growth of the objective bacterium to one or plural sections so as for each section to be distinguished from each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
