PURPOSE:To attain re-route control over plural stage numbers by relating a signal with other connection route request information added thereto up to a 1st relay exchange of a preceding stage when a relay link is faulty. CONSTITUTION:When a call comes from a terminal equipment 9, an LSO sends a common line address signal IAI to a TSO, the TSO translates a dial number in the IAI signal to decide a relay link RT1 as a call connection route, sends the IAI signal to the TS1 and the TS1 sends the signal to the TS2 via the RT3. When the relay of the TS2 is disable because the relay link TR4 with the TS4 is busy or faulty, another route request CGC signal is returned to the TS1. When the TS1 discriminates disable routing by its own exchange, the CGC signal is returned further to the TSO. The TSO decides the other route RT2 to send a signal to a terminal equipment 9' via the TS3 and TS4. Thus, re-route control is implemented over plural stages.
