PURPOSE: To improve storage stability and solubility of the solid processing agent by incorporating at least one kind of monosaccharide. ;CONSTITUTION: This solid color development processing agent for the silver halide color photographic sensitive material is characterized by containing at least one kind of monosaccharide. Sugars (carbohydrates) comprise mono- and poly-saccharides and most of them have the general formula of CnH2nOn. The monosaccharides generally mean aldehydes and ketones of polyalcohols and their reduced and oxidized and dehydrated derivatives and amino-sugars and thiosugars and the like derivatives in the wide range. The polysaccharides mean the products obtained by dehydration condensation of two or more monosaccharides. Aldose and its derivative having reducing aldehyde group are preferable and such a monosaccharide is especially preferable, and it is embodied by erythritol, β-L-arabinose, D-xylose, L-xylose, and the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
