PURPOSE: To make system construction possible by a fuzzy nonexpert by improv ing the efficiency of a rule acquisition operation in fuzzy application system construction. ;CONSTITUTION: At 101 and 102, fuzzy inference is performed based on input data and teacher data and further the errors of a proposition and respective rules are calculated. At 104 and 105, the fault of fuzzy rules is detected. At 106 or 107, the rules are added, corrected or deleted so as to dissolve the fault of the fuzzy rules. Thus, without repeating trials and errors, the rules can be efficiently acquired. Also, since the rule acquisition progresses with the addition, correction and deletion of IF-THEN rules, it is easy to understand for the fuzzy nonexpert and experience, knowledge and requests, etc., can be easily reflected on the rules.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
