PURPOSE:To drastically reduce the power for a fan in a continuous coating line for coating both sides and one side by supporting the surface not to be coated with an in-furnace roll when one side is coated, and reducing the distance between a strip and a nozzle. CONSTITUTION:Devices 2 and 5 for respectively coating the front and rear of a strip 1 and an inlet-side bearing roll 4 are arranged on the inlet side and an outlet-side bearing roll 14 on the outlet side. The upper and lower nozzle chambers 7, 8, 10 and 11 for heat-treating a coating film by a fluid injected from a nozzle are provided along the catenary of the suspended strip 1 between the strip rear coating device 5 or the roll 4 and the roll 14. The lower nozzle chambers 8 and 11 are divided into plural sections in their longitudinal direction, a lifting mechanism 12 is provided to each nozzle chamber, an in-furnace roll 13 is furnished to the nozzle chambers 8 and 11, or plural in-furnace rolls 13 having the lifting mechanism 12 are provided along the catenary.
