PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable only one-time opening operation in a state where gas pressure drop is displayed (in a switch out of order) at time of gas pressure drop. ;SOLUTION: When a lock member 24 of a lock mechanism 19 positioned at a lock releasing positionn C0 for making a manual switching operation mechanism operable to open or close in a closed situation, where a movable electrode is put in closed state by being connected with a fixed electrode in a switch case airtightly containing an arc-extinguishing gas is shifted into a lock position, where the manual switching operation mechanism is made impossible to operate opening or closing operation at time of gas pressure drop. the lock member 24 is opened after passing the following procedures. That is at first, the lock member 24 is kept at the lock release position as it is, by a stopper member 27 of a lock-retaining member 21 which has moved forward in a shift track M of the lock member 24 to a proceeding position E and after that, in the lock retained state, a movable electrode is put in an open state such that the movable electrode is parted from the fixed electrode by the manual switching operation mechanism, and then the lock member 24 is positioned at the lock position in a lock allowed state in which the stopper member 27 of the lock-retaining member 21 is moved back from the shift track M of the lock member 24 to the evacuated position following the opening operation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
