PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain drying method and a grain drying apparatus which reduce the number of installed drying machines or temporary storage tanks, efficiently perform division in accordance with quality information and perform drying processing. SOLUTION: This grain treating method receives grain at grain receiving drying parts A and B and also repeats a grain receiving drying process which divides the received grain in accordance with quality information and dries it calculates the quality information and estimated yield of grain grown in a field that is an object of grain receiving with them associated with the field, inputs them by an inputting part I, corresponds to a grain receiving drying process of one time based on the input information by a grain receiving schedule setting means 61a and sets a grain receiving schedule that receives the grain of each field in accordance with which grain receiving drying processing process on the condition of receiving the amount that is suitable to a dying capability in one time grain receiving drying process.
