PURPOSE:To allow visibility to be attained of a good image of blood flow distribution on diagnosis by providing the first control means in which a CFM picture data read out is linearly interpolated and smoothed in the time axis direction. CONSTITUTION:A transceiving part 2 transmits and receives an ultrasonic pulse through an ultrasonic probe 1 arranging in an array shape two or more ultrasonic vibrators, phase-detecting an ultrasonic echo of the pulse in a phase detecting part 5 of the first control means 5 to 7, obtaining ultrasonic Doppler displacement information and performing a color flow mapping process of blood flow information of a detected body in a CMF processing part 6, and a color DSC7 applies a smoothing process by linear interpolation. While the ultrasonic echo is envelope-detected by a receiver 3 in the second control means, scanned and converted in a black and white DSC4 so as to prevent generation of edging of black, and an output of both the control means is compounded in a compound processing circuit 8 and displayed on a color monitor 9. Thus improving the smoothing characteristic, visibility can be attained of a good image of blood flow distribution on diagnosis.
