PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up simulation work and to save labor for the prepration of a specified file by specifying the mapping of modules in a simulation circuit by a simulator body. ;SOLUTION: A previously prepared hardware simulator library 101 is read out by a simulator 100, the hierarchy of the library 101 is analyzed, all modules constituted of only blocks defined in the library 101 out of plural modules used for an object circuit 201 for logic verification and the information of the extracted modules is written in a mapping information file 2 as mapping information obtained when all available modules are mapped to execute simulation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
