PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a screw conveyor in a correct attitude at all times by rotatably placing a cutter driving shaft on an axis rotating a plurality of disks supporting the screw conveyor while making the outside in the longitudinal direction of the cutter driving shaft eccentric by a twist angle in the opposite direction of the twist direction. ;SOLUTION: Cutters are installed rotatably on the axes of disks 4a, 4b, and screw conveyors 10a, 10b are borne while making the screw conveyors eccentric outwards in the longitudinal direction of driving shafts. When twist execution is applied to a shield machine 1 by an angle α from the vertical direction to the clockwise direction C from a rear section by a controller, a control signal is output to motors 6a, 6b for rotation, and the disks 4a, 4b are turned by the angle α in the counterclockwise direction A. The screw conveyors 10a, 10b are positioned just under the driving shafts at all times by the rotation, and discharged soil and sand can be transported onto a belt conveyor only by annexing guide conduits, etc., capable of corresponding to the lateral displacement of the screw conveyors to the discharge openings of the screw conveyors 10a, 10b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
