Process for manufacturing a composit powder by the conventional SHS(Self Propagating High Temperature Synthesis) method is claimed. In an example, the mixed powder of 4 mol % of Al(purity of above 99.8%), 3 mol % of carbon black(purity of above 99.8%) and 3 mol % of TiO2 powder(purity of 98.5%) is mixed for 0.5-3 hr, is passed through a sieve with 325 mesh, stirred at 70-90 deg.C, and dried. The dried powder is formed under the pressure of 0.5-1.5 ton/mm2 and reacted in argon atmosphere to give a high-purity power.
