Ratchet handle (1) having at one end a stepless reversible drive mechanism for a tool holder. The drive mechanism has a housing (3) with a cylindrical, upwardly and downwardly open chamber (5), a hexagonal rotor (6) rotatable in said chamber (5) and three clamping bodies in the form of rollers (11) in the spaces (10) between the cylindrical wall (4) of the chamber (5) and the rotor (6). The setting of the rollers (11) is regulated by displacing three creased leaf springs (14) placed therebetween. Said springs (14) are fixed peripherally to three fingers (12) joined to a shift knob (13). Locking balls (15) on the rotor (6) hold the fingers (12) in their respective operating position.
