PURPOSE:To enable accurate decision by obtaining the tumor shadow on both of the original picture before subtraction processing the subtraction picture after processing and deciding the benign/malignant of the mamma tumor shadow. CONSTITUTION:The tumor shadow appeared on the X-ray picture before the energy subtraction processing is obtained, the tumor shadow is obtained even to the subtraction picture obtained by the energy subtraction processing, and the positions of the tumor shadows on both of these pictures are compared. when the tumor shadow is obtained on the original picture, the tumor shadow is obtained in the area on the subtraction picture corresponding to the area, and when the tumor shadow is obtained from the both pictures, this is decided as the malignant tumor. When the tumor shadow is not obtained from the subtraction picture, this is decided as the benign tumor shadow. Thus, the benign/malignant of the mamma tumor shadow can be accurately decided.
