PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely secure air- and water-tightness by fixing an air- and water- tight member to a pressing face on the front side of a liner member, arranging it over both mullions and by pressing the back of a front flange with pressing bolts. ;SOLUTION: A pressing face 2a whose cross sectional shape is made to nearly coincide with the shape of a face to be pressed of a joint member such as a mullion is provided on the front side of a liner material 2, and an air- and water-tight member 3 is fixed to the pressing face 2a. Also, into the back wall face of the liner material 2, liner material pressing bolts 4 and 4 are screwed. This air- and water-tight device 1 is arranged at the joint such as a mullion so that it extends over both the mullions. Then, by adjusting the bolts 4, the liner material 2 and the air- and water-tight member 3 are made to slide to the front flange side of the mullion, and the air- and water-tight member 3 is pressed into contact with the back of the front flange. By this, while absorbing thermal expansion/contraction of the joint member, air- and water-tightness can be surely secured.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
