The procedure comprises horizontal metal beams (2) with floor support slabs (3) and vertical beam supports consists of making a beam frame (4). This frame is supported by the floor slabs and has a fire resistant material (5) projected onto it. The fire resistant material is a mixture of vermiculite and plaster. The frame is made from a metallic trellis. The floor slabs are fixed on the frame by means of sections (6) which extend laterally along the length of the beams. The sections are made from a folded metal sheet in the shape of a C whose two ends (61) are folded to define between them reception slot (62) for the frame edge. Bolts (7) are used to fix the section to the floor slabs.
