(i) preheating the Ti-6Al-4V alloy in a temperature range of 800 deg.C to beta transformation point for 0.5-10 hrs., working with a reduction rate of at least 50% to use forging, pressing, rolling or extruding and cooling in water or oil; (ii) performing the solution heat treatment in a temperature range of beta transformation point =F 50 deg.C for 3-20 mins. under the reduction atmosphere; (iii) cooling in water or in oil; and (iv) performing aging treatment or stress relieving annealing at 400-700 deg.C for 1-6 hrs. under the reduction atmosphere. The obtained Ti-6Al-4V alloy has good ductility and mechanical properties.
