PURPOSE: To spread the application range and improve the performance of an apparatus for repelling harmful bird and beast. ;CONSTITUTION: Ventilation holes 2, 3 are opened on the upper and the lower parts of a casing 1, respectively, and a UV emission device 4 is placed in the casing 1. A UV selection device 5 is placed at the opening of the casing at a side of the UV emission device 4. A bait 6 is placed in the region irradiated with UV rays or thereabout selected from the selection device 5 and a harmful bird or beast 7 foraging for the bait is irradiated with UV rays. This apparatus is further provided with a bait sensor 8 for the harmful bird or beast outside of the casing 1 at the side having the UV selection device, a reflecting plate 9 at the other side of the UV emission device in the casing 1 and a feeding device 12 having plural vertical partition plates 11 each having the bait sensor 8 and a through-hole 12 for the sensor outside of the side having the UV selection device of the casing 1.
