PURPOSE:To reduce the hardware quantity of a remote controller by controlling the transmission of frame data in accordance with the result of comparison carried out between the difference obtained between the transmitting frequency of the frame data via a channel device and the receiving frequency of the remote controller and the comparison value that can be freely set in response to the data transfer speed to an input/output device from the remote controller. CONSTITUTION:A comparator 25 performs the comparison between the difference obtained between the transmitting frequency of the frame data of a small capacity received continuously from a channel 2 and the receiving frequency of the reply frames sent from a remote controller 3 for each reception of the frame data and the transfer quantity set previously at a transfer quantity circuit 26. Based on the result of said comparison, a transfer control circuit 21 controls the transfer of the frame data to the controller 3. Thus the store quantity of the frame data is controlled to a data buffer of the controller 3. As a result, the data buffer of the controller 3 is controlled via the channel 2 without providing data buffers in number equal to or larger than the number of frames.
