PURPOSE: To carry out the rapid and precise greening throughout the year by using a seed, a vegetational substrate, etc., undergoing the coating for suppressing the germination for a prescribed period and efficiently performing the greening of a slope in a period unsuitable for construction. CONSTITUTION: Greening of a slope is carried out in a period unsuitable for construction by using a seed, vegetational substrate, an erosion preventing material and a slow-release fertilizer undergoing a coating, capable of suppressing the germination for a prescribed period or having a period for suppressing the germination optionally set according to the period of construction (the coating material is preferably an organic synthetic resin). Furthermore, a coated seed to which a repellent is added is preferably used to prevent the coated seed from being damaged by eating with fowls, animals and insect pests.
