The garment, in the form of an overall top or trousers, comprises sections (1,2,3,4) to cover the body and the arms or legs. Some of the garment's seams are replaced by fastenings (7,8) at intervals, either in the form of buttons and button holes or press studs. An upper garment, for example, comprises front and back panels (1,2) with fastenings at the neck and down the sides, and has two panels (3,4) attached to it forming the sleeves, each with fasteners in place of one long seam.
