The crystallizer applied for continuous casting, for casting a steel into the slaps especially, enabling to preset profile thickness, is located in the body of the casting device and it is created by the movable walls, segments (20), as for instance, at least one pair of endless belts (10) containing segments and located opposite, the segments of which are created based on the hollow and cooled parts (21) creating space between belts and this space is of slap shape. The end less belts with segments (10) are fixed to the closed carrying frame (11), via carrying consoles (12) and they are equipped with individual drives (17), while these drives are synchronised to each other and they are closed to the driving shafts (13), they also are equipped with the sealing pressure of contact walls (25) closed to the segments (20), and this pressure is created based on the breaks (15) on the lower shafts (14) and holes (53) with a longitudinal deviation having a tolerance on the carriers (51) closed to connecting the clappers (5) of rear walls (27) of segments (20). The side walls (23) are used for preset of the slap wide and they are created in a wide overhanging a maximal wide of the slap thickness and the side walls (22) are created in the length which corresponds to the constant wide of the slap, with the side sealing contact on the front active surfaces (26) closed to segments of the opposite belt (10). The shifter enabling to change the distance of axis and the pressure of belts (10) consists of at least two excenters (16) located between the pairs of the driving lower driven shafts (13, 14), movable in their bearings in the axial direction.
