PURPOSE: To wholly, uniformly and surely annealing a furnace shell and to improve the reliability and the economical efficiency by insulating the heat of outer surface of a constructed hot stove, heating with a burner inserted in the furnace shell and also adjusting the opening of a gas exhaust damper to adjust the temp. ;CONSTITUTION: After weld-assembling the furnace shells 1, 3, 5 of the hot stove for blast furnace, the surface of the furnace shells 1, 3, 5 are covered with heat insulating material to insulate the heat and closely sealed. By supplying combusion gas of a heating burner 2 to this sealed furnace shells 1, 3, 5, the temp. is raised from the inner part. The burner 2 is used with a high velocity burner having ≥80cm/sec hot blasting velocity to remove a boundary gas film in the inner surface of the furnace shells 1, 3, 5. Then the gas exhaust damper is opened according to a prescribed annealing condition to adjust the temp.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
