PURPOSE:To transport even a fluid simultaneously with the transmission of complicated and large volume of signals, by constituting the title rubber hose by spirally or linearily arranging an optical fiber in an outer rubber tube to integrally embed the same in said tube. CONSTITUTION:A rubber hose 1 is constituted of an inner rubber tube 2, a reinforcing layer 3 and an outer rubber tube 4 so that at least one optical fiber 5 is spirally or linearily arranged in the outer rubber tube 4 to be integrally embedded therein. If a function feeling physical quantities (temp., pressure, radiation, etc.) or a light emitting function is provided to the optical fiber, for example, when the rubber hose 1 is used as one for supplying a fluid such as petroleum or gasoline, the complicated and large volume of signals of the physical quantities can be transmitted simultaneously with the supply of the fluid.
