PURPOSE:To obtain a highly accurate output from a vibratory gyro by correcting the drift of the gyro. CONSTITUTION:A gyro drift correcting section 14 fetches the output signal of a vibratory gyro 11 at prescribed sampling time intervals and, at the same time, compares a sampling value with the current drift value of the gyro 11. When the difference between the two values is smaller than a set value, the output signal of the gyro 11 is corrected to zero and, at the same time, the sampling value is stored as a new drift value. When the difference is larger, on the other hand, the value obtained by subtracting the current drift value from the sampling value is used as the output signal of the gyro 11.
