The address coding method used in a system involves controlling different switch circuits or blocks (A, B, C) using a control bus. The address decoder for this process includes address recording circuits (10) and several AND gates (UND1-UND12). These provide address decoding signals based on the combination of the outputs. The outputs are divided into two parts. One part is connected to a set of AND gate inputs to select the switch to be controlled. The other part is connected to another set of AND gate inputs to determine the relevant addresses of the selected switches. ADVANTAGE - Construction of decoder hardware for transmitting addresses and data is simplified.
