The capacitor discharge results from the ignition of a thyristor or a similar unit. Three thyristors (1) are ignited successively at a phase angle of 120 deg. The three stator windings thus produce a magnetic field. The electrical energy produced in the windings by self-induction, is supplied again to the windings (2) across a diode (3). Electrically energy produced in the controlled system, is supplied to the system, so that the effectiveness or the output of the system is increased. The efficiency of the system is improved. ADVANTAGE - Self-induced energy is used to give optimum working of inductive system e.g. AC and DC motors, transformers and battery charging systems.
