PURPOSE: To enable simulation by extremely easy operation by defining the geometric motion of each node in the upstream-to-downstream order of a flow of motion and specifying the corresponding relation between the definitions and a two-dimensional drawing. ;CONSTITUTION: Nodes in basic motion are classified into nodes in rotary motion, parallel motion, etc., and transmission nodes which transmit motion to next nodes. There are, for example, link coupling, rotation transmission by a gear, a belt, etc., cam coupling, etc., as the transmission nodes. For the motion of, for example, the claw of the planting mechanism of a rice planting machine which grips and plants seedling, it is evident that the part of the claw is in unequal-speed motion even if a rotary motion node as a motive power node rotates uniformly, and the track, speed, and acceleration are shown in the figure. Thus, the object motion mechanism is divided into the nodes, the geometric motion states of the respective nodes are defined in the upstream-to-downstream order of the flow of the motion, and the coordinate relation between the respective nodes and the two-dimensional drawing which are separately prepared is specified. On the two-dimensional coordinates, the motion of the mechanism part on the drawing is simulated according to the definitions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
