The filter comprises a protective plate (2), an upper dielectric plate (A) with a two-coil electrode structure (41,41), a number of intermediate dielectric plates (101) (optionally featuring trimming electrode structures), and a lower dielectric plate (3a) with a central single-plate electrode. The coils on the upper plate are magnetically coupled and have two chassis connection tracks (6a,6b) and two signal connection tracks (7a,7b). These tracks are arranged on opposite edges of the dielectric plate and their relative separation distance L8,L9) is determined by the required filter impedance. External connectors (9a,9b,10a,10b) are fitted to the ends of the upper dielectric signal tracks, while further connecting tracks (8a,8b) are arranged on opposite edges of the lower plate electrode. USE/ADVANTAGE - Frequencies between few mega and few giga Hertz. Compact band-pass filter suitable for portable radio equipment.
