PURPOSE:To perform input even when a correct reading KANA(Japanese syllabary) is unknown by providing a metropolis/district/prefecture name display selection part which selects the leading character of a metropolis/district/prefecture name, a city/ward/county/town/village instruction part, a metropolis/district/prefecture/city/ward/county/town/village name master in which the metropolis/district/prefecture name and a city/ward/county/town/village name are stored classified by every reading KANA, and a city/ward/county/town/village name error display part, etc. CONSTITUTION:The metropolis/district/prefecture name display selection part 1 selects the leading character of a corresponding metropolis/district/prefecture name by displaying the leading character of the KANJI(Chinese character) of the metropolis/district/prefecture name by conforming to the position of each metropolis/district/prefecture. A reading KANA name city/ward/county/town/village display selection part 4 displays the city/ward/county/town/village name in accordance with a KANA leading character and a city/ward/county/town/village key instructed by the city/ward/county/town/village instruction part 2 by retrieving the metropolis/district/prefecture/city/ward/county/town/village name master 3 stored by classified by every reading KANA. A city/ward/county/town/village summary table display selection part 5 displays the summary table of the city/ward/county/town/village name in accordance with the city/ward/county/town/village key only when it is inputted. In such a way, it is possible to input the metropolis/district/prefecture/city/ward/county/town/village name even when the correct reading KANA for all characters are unknown when they are inputted.
