PURPOSE:To contrive the perfect anchorage of young posture grass by disposing an existent grass-mowing device and fertilizing device for adding a fertilizer to the young pasture grass in the additionally sowed places of a field, the existent grass-mowing device being employed for cleaning and mowing the existent grass in places excluding the additionally sowed places in response to the length of the existent regrown grass and simultaneously putting the mowed grass in the grass-mowed places. CONSTITUTION:A partial flail mower 4 driven by a power-inputting shaft 3 and employed for cleaning and mowing existent grass is divided into additionally sowed portions B, B,... having a prescribed pitch, existent grass portions A, A,... and existent grass portions A', A' at both the right and left sides, and a gauge wheel 6 for adjusting the height of the existent grass, a hopper 7 for a granular fertilizer, a roll 8 for delivering the fertilizer and fertilizer- applying pipes 11, 11,... for conducting the delivered fertilizer to respective additionally sowed portions B, B,... are disposed in the working device. The mowing work with the flail mower 4 is performed so that the cutting surface of the grass is not sharp, thereby delaying the regrowing rate of the existent grass C to avoid the pressure of the existent grass to the young pasture grass for a long period. The cleaned and mowed grass is again put on the mowed places to cover the existent grass for retarding the re-growth thereof. A granular fertilizer E is simultaneously concentratedly added to additionally sowed young posture grass portions D.
