PURPOSE:To construct various systems by constituting a composite memory medium by means of a fixed memory in which reading and writing is executed through a holding body accommodating an optical disk as a read-only memory and a first emission light-receiving element. CONSTITUTION:The composite memory medium is provided with the fixed memory 2 which is fixed to the holding body 7 holding the optical disk 1 as the read-only memory and in which reading or writing is possible, and the first emission light-receiving element 10 fixed to the holding body which connects a signal used for reading or writing data with respect to the fixed memory 2 with an external part, and the optical disk 1 and the fixed memory 2 are constituted in such a way that they are integrated. Since the optical disk 1 and the fixed memory 2 are integrated, writing is possible and a control program is stored in the fixed memory 2, whereby operation is attained only by the composite memory medium without the necessity of other recording medium.
