PURPOSE:To improve the performance of a system and to execute the effective use of resources by analyzing the performance with the inputted performance data when a performance problem is detected and outputting a problem, a cause and a solution. CONSTITUTION:The performance data, which become the object of processing, are stored into a main memory 101 and an auxiliary memory 103. The knowledge base is also stored in the auxiliary memory 103. The data and the knowledge base in the auxiliary memory 103 are loaded to a main memory 101 as needed at the time of the processing execution. A central processing unit 102 executes the monitoring and analyzing with the knowledge base and the performance data and the analyzed result is outputted through an input/output interface 104 to an output device 105 such as a terminal output device and a printer. Thus, by executing the countermeasure of the outputted analyzed result, the improvement of a system and the effective use of the resources can be executed.
